How to Order Oil

275 GALLON TANK

Each 1/4 tank is approximately 60 gallons. A gauge should be read from the bottom of the disc inside the sight glass.

• if your guage reads 1/4 then you will be able to fit 180 gallons
• if your guage reads 1/2 then you will be able to fit 125 gallons
• if your guage reads 3/4 then we recommend that you do not order oil

You should not let your tank get below a 1/4, this causes sludge to get stirred up when we fill it, which is not good for your heating system.

330 GALLON TANK

Each 1/4 tank is approximately 75 gallons. A gauge should be read from the bottom of the disc inside the sight glass.

• if your gauge reads 1/4 then you will be able to fit 225 gallons
• if your gauge reads 1/2 then you will be able to fit 150 gallons
• if your gauge reads 3/4 then we recommend that you do not order oil

You should not let your tank get below a 1/4, this causes sludge to get stirred up when we fill it, which is not good for your heating system.
